These twin girls were turning two and came to the studio for some birthday portraits. After individual and sister photos, we added the cake for the cake smash part of the session. This pink, white, and gold set matched their theme perfectly.

This summer baby came to the studio with her parents about a week after she was born. She had THE best hair and the most amazing facial expressions that she showed off at the end of her session.

This super fun glitter session was used to document an upcoming birthday. We designed the cutest set, styled the perfect outfit, and just had fun playing with the glitter.

This precious baby boy was 8 weeks old at his session. We started with photos of the entire family, posed with each parent, and then captured some sweet moments with his big sister.

This mom decided on a rubber ducky theme for baby's one year session. We started with portraits (this time with a fun prop using the bathtub) and then ended with the cake smash!

The studio Experience
There are so many milestones as a new parent that you'll want to document for your little one. The newborn stage of course because you want to remember just how little they were. Then, a few months later, they start to roll over and have the cutest facial expressions. When they turn half a year old or so, they are able to sit up on their own and that huge milestone deserves to be documented. And the best milestone of all- one year. Not only is it a huge milestone because they are standing on their own or starting to walk, but YOU deserve to be celebrated as you have made it through your first year of parenthood. That first year is so special and so many of my studio clients choose to document those beginning days and months.

2. Newborn sessions
For newborn sessions, I provide everything we'll need in my studio. I have backdrop paper, swaddles, props, and more! If you have color preferences like loving yellow or not being a fan of pink, I keep that in mind when setting up for your session. Each newborn session includes family or sibling poses and then 3 posed sets. I'll also do my best to get details of baby, like their little feet and hands!
3. Milestone sessions
Milestone sessions typically happen at 6 months and one year.
At their 6 month session, baby is typically sitting up (even if they need a little bit of help) and we can get photos with them laying on their belly looking at the camera. You'll see a huge change from newborn to 6 months so I highly recommend documenting these 2 stages.
4. One year cake smash
The one year portrait and cake smash session is my favorite! Baby has changed so much over the first year and now you can really see their personality. For this session, you can choose a themed set (like rubber ducky or space themed) or you can do a very neutral set up.
5. OTHER STUDIO OPTIONS
While newborn, 6 month, and one year sessions are the most popular studio sessions, they aren't the only option! I have had maternity studio sessions, birthday portrait sessions for kids older than one, and themed sessions like glitter or preschool grad sessions. The possibilities are endless with studio sessions! I love working in the studio because we don't have to worry about the weather ruining our plans and we don't have to fight the sun so our start time is super flexible.

Newborn sessions start at $350
All newborn sessions are done in studio and typically happen 7-14 days after baby is born. Sessions last about 2 hours, but can go longer if needed. We listen to baby and allow baby to feed and be soothed as needed. We'll get family and sibling poses first and then 3 posed sets of just baby. Sessions include 25 edited images.

Studio Sessions
NEWBORN SESSIONS
For in studio sessions, there are 2 options- a half session (30 minutes- 10 images) or a full session (one hour- 25 images). These two options can be used for a wide range of session types- 6 months, cake smash, birthday portraits, maternity, and more.
Bundling your maternity session & your baby's milestone sessions will ensure you document those important moments. With this bundle, you'll get a maternity session, a studio newborn session, a 6 month session, and a one year cake smash session in studio. You'll also receive a physical album to showcase your images.
